One Sett is founded by an entrepreneur Yuthu Zinhtet in her twenty-twos and is a graduate company from Founder Institute Yangon Chapeter Cohort 2, a 3.5 month program that uses the exact same practices of the main Founder Institute program based in Silicon Valley. It achieves seed funding from Phandeeyar in Phandeeyar Accelerator Program Cohort 3. During the time in Founder Institute, Yuthu got a scholarship from Geek Girl Myanmar with her very first startup, One Sett.
