Lincoln Legal Services Myanmar Limited is rated 3 out of 5 in the category legal services. Read and write reviews about Lincoln Legal Services Myanmar Limited. Myanmar is in the global spotlight for being one of the last frontier markets with the potential of becoming an economic leader in the region over the next years. The country has distinguished itself with significant achievements building up a democratic society and allowing entrepreneurship to flourish. Myanmar’s transition has met with what many consider to be the ultimate seal of approval: On 7th October 2016, the US lifted its long-standing sanctions against the country. It is an exciting time to be here. Lincoln Myanmar started as a law firm on 1st April 2016, but the people behind it have operated in the country for much longer. The firm’s founder Sebastian Pawlita has been in Myanmar for four years, being partner at two law firms prior to setting up his own. He is a ranked lawyer in Chambers and Partners Asia Pacific in 2016 and 2017 and brings his business case to the new outfit. Nyein Chan Zaw, the firm’s co-founder, ran his parent’s various businesses before deciding that he wanted to do something else. We operate on the same principles that have proven to be successful during the last four years: Result-oriented work, high dependability, fast response time, low prices. We offer first-class legal and tax services to multinationals and large local companies involved in a broad range of transactions. A big part of our client base is composed of foreign law firms without an office in Myanmar that entrust us with their Myanmar-related work. Our practice areas are: Corporate (foreign direct investment and M&A) Banking; project finance Oil and gas; mining; electricity; infrastructure Telecommunications, media and technology Real estate; hospitality and tourism Litigation; dispute resolution; debt collection Transport and logistics Tax, payroll and accounting
